Description
This is a general course for a person working in an operational or supervisory role, who needs to conduct traffic management tasks in a live traffic environment for the resources and infrastructure industries in Victoria.
This course is about controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic using a stop-slow bat, and setting out, monitoring and closing down traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes in civil construction.
What is received on completion?
Students who successfully complete all requirements of training and assessment for this course will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the following units:

- RIIWHS205E Control traffic with stop-slow bat
- RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plan

This course is conducted over 2 days from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
What are the Entry Requirements?
Students must already hold the following units of competency or certifications prior to enrolling in this course:
- CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
Will I need to undertake Work Placement?
No.
Do you need to bring Personal Protective Equipment?
Yes.
